Electromagnetic Barrier (電磁バリアー) is the second boss from Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars.

The Electromagnetic Barrier appears at the end of the stage, creating lightning columns between the floor and ceiling on fixed positions at regular intervals. In order to get through it the player needs to calculate the timing between the electric discharges. The player can also take advantage of the moving platforms which come from the right, as they block the electricity below them.
