Ashra, known as "Jan Ashurē" (ジャン・アシュレー) in Japan, is the final boss from Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle. He is the son of Janken the Great and new ruler of Janbarik, succeeding his father after he was defeated by Alex Kidd and making yakyūken popular in the planet.[1] Ashra rules from the Sky Castle and is an expert at Janken that never lost in the game before. After being defeated it is revealed that he is actually a servant of King Thunder.
Unlike the other janken challengers in the game, Ashra must be beaten in a best of three contest. Upon being defeated he will engage the player in a fight, attacking by launching his fists forward at different heights.
